Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Mortgage Loan Analyst I to review, underwrite, and negotiate mortgage loan transactions across originations, refinances, and administrative actions. You will analyze financials, review third-party reports, and prepare underwriting materials to support loan origination, investor relations, closing, and servicing.

This role requires traveling once a year to correspondent markets, working remotely within the USA and Portland, OR, and collaborating across underwriting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial mortgage lending or real estate investment.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and underwriting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review, underwrite, negotiate, and recommend new loan originations and refinances within guidelines.
• Analyze borrower and tenant financials and third-party reports.
• Prepare underwriting materials and documentation for loan actions.
• Support communication between underwriting, investor relations, closing, and servicing teams.
• Develop portfolio reports and market research to inform loan decisions.
• Conduct property site inspections and support local market teams.
