Job summary

Onity Group is seeking a Commercial Special Servicing Analyst to manage a portfolio of commercial mortgage loans. The role involves analysis of collateral, loan accounting, document review, vendor administration and investor communication, with interaction with offshore resources.

The position requires at least two years’ experience with defaulted commercial loans, strong CRE knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A bonus program is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with defaulted commercial loans.
• Understanding of commercial loan documents, including interest accrual, tax and insurance administration.
• Understanding of CRE income property operating documents (rent rolls, income statements).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review loan accounting and prepare/verify calculations for legal demands.
• Manage inbound calls and correspondence from borrowers and internal groups.
• Review property valuation reports from appraisers and market sources.
• Review collateral property inspections and operating information.
• Review commercial loan documents for borrower requirements and covenants.
• Monitor loan performance and identify at‑risk loans for special servicing.
• Coordinate with external special servicers and asset managers.
• Maintain accurate system data and timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with training, audits and reporting requirements.
