Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) Salt Lake City is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin and customer service, resolving complex issues with accuracy.

The role requires active P&C licensing and trucking/transport experience; leadership of the account management team and collaboration across departments are key components of success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Manage expirations and renewals; conduct client research and present proposals
