Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business.

You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, hold an active P&C license (CIC preferred), and demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and service skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise
• Direct daily activities of the account management team
• Handle service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals during renewals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Ensure timely completion and transparent workload communication
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs
• Uphold company policies and drive continuous improvement
