Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines. The role supports the account team, producers, and assigned accounts, handling policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis to ensure quality service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing preferred. Remote work is available within California and other western states, with on-site expectations per policy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals
• Assist in renewal submissions, negotiations and issuance
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team
