Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new opportunities. You will coordinate daily administrative tasks, handle policy administration, billing, and renewals, and communicate with the team to ensure service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, an active P&C license (CIC preferred), and strong analytical and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years account management or 5+ years in insurance experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization.
• Proficiency with MS Office and carrier systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to ensure retention and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and client submissions.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team and ensure timely work.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy.
