Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of a Manager/Producer. The role focuses on policy tracking, renewals, and accurate processing of endorsements, invoices, and binders while maintaining data integrity in agency systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing, and the CISR designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required, professional designation (CISR) preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; exceptional customer service and communication

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related policy documents
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting info, assess coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, bind coverage
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue collections
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and adhere to policies
