Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Arizona is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines. The role supports the account team and requires an active P&C license with PT hours.

Remote work is open to California residents, with on-site duties possible for certain locations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, strong client service skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing.
• Present proposals, bind coverage, and follow up for policy issuance.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
