Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Business Development / Project Manager for the San Antonio area. This role blends sales growth with project and account management from award through completion, and involves developing client relationships, winning work, and ensuring a stellar client experience.

The position covers Central Texas with flexibility to work from home or at the Buda office, client locations, and job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial flooring sales, business development, project management, or a combination of these areas.
• Proven ability to develop new business and generate revenue.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction and flooring projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and client relationships simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, architects, designers, and other commercial flooring decision-makers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Central Texas market.
• Pursue bid opportunities and respond to invitations to bid; attend pre-bid meetings and client meetings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to develop proposals and bids; manage project lifecycle from award through closeout.
