Qualifications

• Commercial flooring experience is essential.
• 3+ years in construction project coordination, assistant PM, or project engineer.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contracts.
• Strong communication with field teams and clients; able to propose solutions.
• Organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of multiple commercial flooring projects from start to finish.
• Visit active job sites in the San Antonio area to review progress, quality, and schedule.
• Serve as liaison between Project Manager, production manager, estimators, coordinators, field crews, and customers.
• Report project status including progress, red flags, and proposed solutions.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specs, contracts, and schedules as they relate to flooring and interior finishes.
• Support bid and quote preparation and help predict project duration and cost.
• Identify field conditions that may require change orders and coordinate with the project team.
• Review work at every stage to ensure schedules, specs, and customer requirements are met; maintain quality control.
• Verify receipt of materials and deliveries; help reduce waste and use materials efficiently.
• Attend project meetings, take notes, and schedule follow-ups as needed.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
