Job summary

Megaport is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst for the United States to act as a key liaison between the US business and the Australian headquarters' Commercial Finance team.

The role focuses on providing commercial insights, supporting strategic decisions, and aligning regional activities with global finance standards. You will work on deal evaluation, pricing strategies, commission management, and growth initiatives, collaborating with cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CFA preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with financial modelling and BI tool experience.
• Excellent communication to present complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with US sales and operations to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.
• Support deal structuring, pricing, and discount requests in line with company guidelines.
• Evaluate partnerships and expansion opportunities with data-driven business cases.
• Design, analyze, and manage commission structures and timely payments.
• Prepare regular financial reports, forecasts, and KPI dashboards.
• Serve as on-the-ground finance contact for US team and coordinate with Australian team.
• Bridge time zones to share insights with the broader finance team.
