Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the Enterprise finance team in the United States. You will own planning, budgeting and performance analysis while partnering with HR, strategy, sales, delivery and product to drive value.

The role requires strong FP&A or advisory background, ability to influence senior decisions and focus on process improvements. Remote work with East Coast overlap is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Experience in FP&A or financial advisory in a matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to influence senior decisions with non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial judgement.
• Advanced Excel, modelling and scenario analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Own annual budgets, forecasts and long-term planning.
• Provide variance analysis and decision-ready financial insight.
• Partner with leaders on business cases, investments, pricing and cost optimisation.
• Produce management accounts, KPI dashboards and month-end analysis.
• Improve reporting, forecasting and finance workflows through standardisation.
• Build cross-functional solutions with workforce and hiring-data visibility.
• Maintain controls and alignment with group finance requirements.
