Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Remote Commercial Auto & Liability Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve assigned claims for national accounts. You will manage property damage, bodily injury, and subrogation opportunities from assignment through resolution, ensuring compliance with standards and state laws.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial auto, liability, or multi-line claims handling experience.
• Active homestate adjusters license is required.
• Experience managing claims from investigation through final resolution.
• Experience handling: Commercial Auto Liability, Bodily Injury, First- and Third-Party Property Damage.
• Strong liability investigation and claim evaluation skills.
• Experience establishing reserves and negotiating settlements.
• Experience managing attorney-represented claims.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust commercial auto liability claims from assignment through resolution.
• Handle first-party and third-party property damage claims.
• Evaluate bodily injury exposures and develop resolution strategies.
• Conduct liability investigations and gather supporting documentation, statements, reports, and evidence.
• Review medical records, repair estimates, invoices, and claim-related documentation.
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves based on claim exposure and development.
• Manage total loss claims and coordinate claim resolution activities.
• Identify, monitor, and pursue subrogation opportunities when appropriate.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and authorized representatives.
• Coordinate with defense counsel on attorney-represented and litigated claims.
• Maintain timely diary management and accurate file documentation.
• Prepare claim reports, reserve recommendations, and client communications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Claim Standards and service commitments.
