Job summary

CCMSI is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve liability claims across multiple commercial accounts and jurisdictions. This is a claims adjuster role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of low, moderate, and high-complexity liability claims from first notice through resolution.

Qualifications

• Liability claims handling experience.
• Experience handling attorney-represented, complex, and litigated files.
• Exposure to significant injury claims preferred.
• Strong investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and claim management skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve liability claims in accordance with client requirements and standards.
• Analyze liability, damages, coverage considerations, and exposure issues to support decisions.
• Manage a portfolio of low, moderate, and high-complexity liability claims through resolution.
• Coordinate with claimants, insureds, clients, attorneys, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the claim process.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation, reserves, reporting, and diary management.
• Manage litigated and non-litigated claims while ensuring timely file progression.
• Deliver responsive and professional customer service while maintaining client relationships.
