Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Commercial Analyst I for its Commercial Finance team. The role supports proposals, budgets, and contract modifications from a remote US location, with collaboration across Commercial, Finance, Operations, and other internal teams.

The position focuses on developing accurate pricing, budgets, and negotiating customer agreements while ensuring adherence to Thermo Fisher guidelines and timelines. A GMP labs background is preferred and relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, pricing, or contract management.
• GMP labs experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with enterprise systems (CRM or ERP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer information from RFPs, renewals, and contract modifications to ensure information suffices for budget and pricing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to clarify scope and strategy for proposals and modifications.
• Manage multiple proposals, budgets, renewals, and modifications with deadlines and guidelines.
• Analyze customer requirements, resources, and financial data to support pricing proposals.
• Prepare financial analyses and pricing scenarios to support negotiations and internal decisions.
• Update budgets and pricing information in business systems with accuracy.
• Finalize customer-facing financial and contractual documents after approvals.
