Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced US college admissions counselor to guide students through planning, profile building, and competitive applications to top universities that match their goals.

You will manage a caseload, tailor academic and extracurricular plans, advise on UC/ CSU lists, PIQs, and Common App essays, and coach families via Zoom, with regular progress reviews in a fully remote role aligned to EST hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in college admissions counseling or related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple students independently.
• Strong knowledge of UC and CSU admissions systems.
• Experience guiding PIQs and Common App essays.
• Experience communicating with parents and families.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Oversee a caseload of students through the U.S. admissions process.
• Develop tailored academic and extracurricular plans.
• Advise on university lists and major selection.
• Design application strategies for UC/ CSU and selective universities.
• Guide PIQs, Common App, personal statements, and supplements.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and track progress.
• Lead meetings with parents and families.
• Provide feedback via Zoom and recorded reviews.
