Job summary

Floowi is seeking an experienced College Admissions Counselor to independently guide students and families through the U.S. college admissions journey. This remote, full-time role focuses on long-term planning and strategic guidance for UC/CSU and selective universities.

You will manage your own caseload, coach on PIQs and applications, and collaborate with parents to position students for success. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of UC/CSU admissions, PIQs, and Common App, with a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in college admissions counseling or related field.
• Proven ability to independently manage the full U.S. college admissions process.
• Strong knowledge of UC/CSU admissions systems and requirements.
• Experience guiding UC PIQs and developing effective application positioning.
• Familiarity with Top 100 U.S. universities and selective programs.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of students through the complete U.S. admissions process.
• Develop personalized academic and extracurricular strategies to build competitive profiles.
• Advise on university selection, lists, and intended majors considering requirements and selectivity.
• Support UC/CSU and other selective university application strategies and positioning.
• Provide guidance on PIQs, Common App, personal statements, and supplements.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and maintain accountability with students and families.
