Job summary

Egelloc seeks an experienced College Admissions Advisor to guide students and families through the admissions journey in a fully remote role across the United States. The role emphasizes high-level coaching, strategic planning, and collaboration with Essay Editing and Client Success teams rather than logistics.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in college admissions coaching, IEC experience, and deep knowledge of UC/CSU systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring experience required.
• Experience as an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) and/or Public High School College Counselor preferred.
• Experience independently managing the full college admissions counseling process, including academic planning, extracurricular and activities planning, major and college selection, application strategy, and college application advising from start to finish.
• Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQs and admissions positioning.
• Strong understanding of Top 100 U.S. universities and admissions strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching and accountability for students.
• Develop strategic admissions plans aligned with target universities.
• Position stories and essays for UC and Common App.
• Guide families with transparent communication and guidance.
• Monitor progress and intervene to keep students on track.
• Collaborate with Essay Editing, Client Success, and leadership.
