Job summary

Soni's client in the professional services industry is seeking a Collections Supervisor to lead a high-performing team responsible for a portfolio of complex client accounts. This hands-on leader will coach, mentor, and develop staff, partner with Billing, Finance, and Client Services, and drive cash collections and process improvements in a global organization.

The role is Mostly Remote with Hybrid – approximately 1 day per month on-site in Old Bridge, NJ.

Qualifications

• Direct people management experience with coaching and performance reviews.
• Experience handling escalated collections matters and complex client issues.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing aged receivables and collections metrics.
• Ability to operate with minimal day-to-day oversight.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the collections team with a client portfolio.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members with regular feedback.
• Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
• Escalation point for complex collections issues and disputes.
• Partner with Billing, Finance, and Client Services to improve collections and reduce aged receivables.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
