Job summary

ADT offers a 10+ week on-site training program in Jacksonville, FL, before transitioning to remote work from home. The role focuses on first-party collections with a strong emphasis on customer service, negotiations, and accurate billing handling.

Starting pay is $17 per hour, with increases to $20 per hour after 180 days. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Training hours are 8:30 am–5:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in first-party collections (non-A/R) with payments handling or payment arrangements.
• Remote customer service experience is required.
• Strong negotiation and multi-application screen navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve inbound and outbound calls using multiple applications.
• Respond to billing inquiries and resolve account issues.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and collect overdue amounts.
• Direct customers to the appropriate team when needed.
• Explain billing charges clearly and answer questions about billing.
• Meet monthly performance standards and QA requirements.
• Work overtime on special projects as needed.
• Maintain attendance and adherence to schedule.
