Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant collections or customer-service experience.
• Ability to handle sensitive conversations tactfully and professionally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review delinquent loan accounts and manage them per laws, regulations, and policies.
• Contact members via phone, mail, and electronic channels to discuss delinquency and repayment options.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and monitor promises and plans.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and collection activities.
• Perform skip tracing to update contact information when needed.
• Process deferment requests and adjust late fees per policy.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet delinquency performance goals.
