Mission Lane is hiring an Operations Coordinator for the Collections & Recoveries team to have direct, honest conversations with customers about getting accounts back on track, fairly and respectfully. This is a remote role serving a national footprint, requiring 1+ year of phone-based experience and strong communication skills.

You will follow scripts, document outcomes, hit daily targets, and collaborate with teammates in Collaboration Room AI.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a phone-based, customer-facing role (collections, customer service, sales, or similar).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet performance expectations in a metrics-driven environment.
• Ability to work a remote schedule with active presence in Collaboration Room AI.
• Fast, reliable internet and a private workspace.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers who have fallen behind on payments and discuss owed amounts or workable payment plans.
• Navigate objections with patience to reach a plan that works for the customer.
• Follow scripts, tools, and account guidelines to maintain consistency and compliance.
• Read conversations quickly and adjust approach while keeping the ask in view.
• Maintain accurate records of calls and outcomes in the system.
• Meet daily and weekly targets for collections, quality, and productivity.
• Take coaching and apply it on the next call.
• Flag unusual accounts to management for guidance.
• Engage with the Collaboration Room AI virtual team space for ongoing support.
