Allegion is seeking a Collections Administrator to manage the collection process and maintain accurate customer records. This remote US role supports on-site visits as needed and focuses on timely resolutions of outstanding payments in a manufacturing environment.

You will work with internal departments to resolve deductions, escalate overdue accounts to third-party agencies when appropriate, and maintain ERP documentation under SOX guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in collections, credit adjustments, dispute management, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field is beneficial but not required.
• Spanish or French language skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review and action incoming collection-related correspondence.
• Process returned mail and update customer information.
• Maintain ERP account blocks with SOX-compliant documentation.
• Escalate overdue accounts to third-party agencies according to policy.
• Prepare legal notices prior to agency escalation.
• Review accounts for non-payment before lien waivers are issued.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors on lien status.
• Provide Notary Public services as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve deductions and improve processes.
• Communicate with customers to facilitate payments.
