Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a motivated and experienced manager to lead a software application engineering team within Collaboration Experience. You will guide a group of engineers to deliver scalable employee experiences, optimize cloud-based services, and drive customer-focused solutions across our global workforce.

This remote role reports to the Collaboration Experience Senior Manager and requires strong leadership, agile practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3–5 years leading technical teams.
• 6+ years in enterprise project management with SaaS deployments.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile practices and process improvement.
• Proven track record delivering customer-focused solutions.
• Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Provide technical oversight for reliability, performance, security.
• Manage infrastructure and deployment pipelines for SaaS.
• Handle customer interactions, intake requests, escalations.
• Serve as escalation contact for data migrations and custom solutions.
• Drive agile practices: backlog refinement, sprint planning, roadmaps.
• Collaborate across functions for seamless integration.
• Advocate for process improvements to reduce costs and improve value.
• Provide coaching and career development for team members.
• Participate in incident management and on-call recovery.
