Job summary

Legion Health is seeking licensed psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth across the United States. This part-time contractor role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and the infrastructure to support your practice while you mentor NP colleagues.

You will provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, and independent prescribing decisions where permitted, with comprehensive administrative and licensure support from Legion.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort providing care remotely using electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally permitted.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Support Legion's expansion of access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
