Job summary

Legion Health is seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth workflows across the United States. This part-time contractor role combines clinical autonomy with operational support from Legion.

You will provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, contributing to a flexible, high-quality mental health care model.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely with electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when appropriate.
• Be available during agreed working hours and at shift ends as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the U.S.
