Job summary

Legion Health, Inc. seeks clinically excellent psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs through secure telehealth workflows. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role combines clinical responsibility with modern organizational support.

You will provide guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, while Legion handles recruitment of PMHNPs and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort providing care remotely using telehealth and EHR systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients with evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where allowed.
• Be available during agreed working hours and after PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
