R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Coding Supervisor for the Physician Shared Services organization in a remote US-based role.

You will oversee the Coding department, delegate work, and ensure timely, accurate completion of coding tasks while aligning with quality and compliance initiatives. You will coach staff, participate in performance reviews, and collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to drive training and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Coding department operations and workflow.
• Assign daily work and enforce deadlines.
• Coach and mentor staff to improve processes and reduce non-compliance.
• Complete staff performance evaluations on schedule.
• Maintain professional conduct and positive workplace culture.
• Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore counterparts for training and quality.
• Act as liaison between hourly staff and management.
• Join weekly operations meetings and address client concerns promptly.
