Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a leader for the Coding and Revenue Integrity Unit responsible for staffing analyses, training, policy development, and process improvements to ensure accurate coding and efficient revenue operations.

You will supervise workflows, coordinate audits, and collaborate with Information Services to meet organizational goals. The role demands strong communication, leadership, and coding proficiency with AHIMA/CCS credentials preferred.

Formación

• 2+ years in a lead role in a highly progressive acute care setting with experience in training, quality improvement, compliance and record keeping.
• Strong communication with physicians, clinicians, department personnel and outside vendors.
• Proficient in ICD-10 CM and CPT coding; CCS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises the daily workflow of the Coding and Revenue Integrity Unit to ensure timely work completion.
• Plans for high census, vacations and leaves to meet the goal of coding/charging within 4 days of discharge.
• Acts as liaison with Patient Financial Services on coding/charging and unbilled issues.
• Orients and trains new staff; verifies competency of coding staff.
• Oversees training and continued education for accuracy and productivity.
• Coordinates internal and external coding audits.
• Participates in Revenue Cycle Workgroup to resolve issues.
• Leads people management activities including engagement, recruitment and development.
