Job summary

Partner Company in the United States is seeking a Coding Quality Reviewer and Educator-3 for a fully remote role. You will oversee audits of professional coding and documentation across a multispecialty ambulatory healthcare environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reimbursement support.

You will translate complex coding and regulatory requirements into practical guidance, develop education for coders and providers, and track audit results to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five+ years professional coding experience in a multispecialty setting preferred.
• Experience educating providers/coding professionals is preferred.
• Certification in CPC or CCS/CCS-P is required.
• Specialty certification relevant to assigned area required within one year of hire.
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform prospective and retrospective audits of professional coding and medical records.
• Evaluate documentation for medical necessity and CMS/commercial payer compliance.
• Document findings in an audit-defensible manner and provide rationale.
• Apply compliant audit methodologies per AHIMA/ACDIS guidance.
• Identify root causes and collaborate on corrective action plans.
• Develop and deliver targeted education for coders and providers.
• Analyze audit results to identify systemic risks and improvement opportunities.
• Research regulatory guidance and translate into practical recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of coding updates and regulatory developments.
• Support initiatives to reduce denials and audit findings.
