Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with 5+ years inpatient coding experience.
• Certified Coding Specialist with 2+ years quality audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, DRG, and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitors compliance with clinical documentation to support coding and billing regulations.
• Reviews DRG assignments and quality indicators for Medicare/Medicaid inpatients.
• Analyzes physician documentation for coding accuracy and queries physicians when needed.
• Provides guidance and education to inpatient coders and CDI specialists.
