Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Coding Lead to ensure compliance and revenue related to coding and billing for professional services. Located in Reno, Nevada, this position involves responding to escalations, performing complex coding tasks, and mentoring staff. Candidates should have extensive experience in facility and pro-fee coding, along with required certifications (CPC, CCS, CCS-P). Telecommuting is allowed with approval. Qualifications

• 5-8 years of previous facility and/or pro-fee coding experience required.
• Experience in coding compliance criteria for all patient encounter types preferred.
• CPC, CCS and/or CCS-P certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalations from internal coding staff and customers.
• Ensure timely completion of critical medical record reviews.
• Serve as a resource on coding questions and documentation requirements.
• Monitor quality of coding and document findings.
