Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
• Knowledge of coding guidelines, CMS rules, and OIG work plans.
• Minimum 5 years progressive coding experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, education, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit medical records to ensure documentation supports level of service.
• Develop and implement educational programs for coding/compliance.
• Onboard and audit newly on-boarded providers and programs.
• Maintain high standards and quality control with independent work.
