Job summary

You will conduct comprehensive audits of professional coders and providers to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines, analyze patterns to identify risks, and develop targeted education programs to improve documentation quality.

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, and HCC guidelines.
• 3–5 years of professional coding or auditing experience.
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of professional coders and providers to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines.
• Analyze documentation and coding patterns to identify compliance risks and provide actionable feedback.
• Develop and deliver training programs based on audit findings and regulatory updates.
