Job summary

DaMar Staffing in the United States is seeking a Coding Auditor to perform coding audits to assure compliance with CPT/ICD-10 guidelines and the Corporate Compliance Plan. This role develops, coordinates, and implements clinic‑wide education for coding and billing issues while serving as a resource to physicians, office staff, management and patients.

This role requires 3 years of hospital or physician auditing experience with coding knowledge; CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records, auditing, and coding software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to achieve goals.
• Able to educate physicians and staff on improvements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct coding audits of physicians and non-physician staff to ensure CPT/ICD-10 accuracy.
• Communicate audit results with manager, physicians and medical director.
• Develop and deliver coding education tailored to requesting physicians and office staff.
• Assist in reviews by external regulators and insurers for documentation and coding adequacy.
