SelectHealth - Murray is seeking a Coding Analyst I to review claims and ensure compliant coding across professional, facility, DME, lab, and drug codes. The role supports ERISA standards and interfaces with providers and departments to drive accurate reimbursement.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Remote work options may be available, with potential on-site interviews and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution. Education will be verified.
• Two years of work experience in coding, healthcare, or in a health plan environment.
• Demonstrated Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing claims (pre-payment) to monitor billing practices and ensure accurate coding and reimbursement based on contracts and regulations.
• Ensures review decisions are in line with ERISA standards.
• Logging provider appeals and sending correspondence to providers on submitted appeals.
• Serving as a consultant to departments and providers within Select Health and Intermountain Health.
• Supporting higher level analysts and effectively managing workload.
