Job summary

SelectHealth—Murray, fully remote coding analyst role supporting professional, facility, drug, DME, and lab coding for government programs. Review claims, monitor billing practices, and ensure compliance across ERISA and regulations.

Requires strong communication and documentation skills; on-site interviews possible. Minimum 2 years in coding or health plan environment with an associate degree; preferred bachelor’s and national coding certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution. Education will be verified.
• Two years of work experience in coding, healthcare, or in a health plan environment.
• Demonstrated Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing claims (pre-payment) to monitor billing practices and ensure accurate coding and reimbursement based on contracts and regulations.
• Ensures review decisions align with ERISA standards.
• Logging provider appeals and sending correspondence to providers.
• Serving as a consultant to various departments within Select Health and Intermountain Healthcare.
• Supporting higher level analysts and researching as needed.
