Job summary

Medsien is seeking a Remote Certified Medical Assistant to support patients nationwide in enrolling into healthcare programs. The CMA will work with care teams, explain program benefits, and document enrollment steps with accuracy.

The role requires active national CMA certification, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication skills, including Russian-English fluency. This is a 1099 position with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Active national CMA certification from a recognized body.
• Bilingual in Russian and English with strong written and verbal skills.
• Experience supporting enrollment into healthcare programs.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through enrollment in healthcare programs with accurate documentation.
• Assess eligibility for programs based on age, conditions, and criteria.
• Conduct consultations to explain benefits and requirements of programs.
• Document patient information and enrollment details in EHRs.
• Monitor enrollment progress and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Provide clear patient education on program offerings.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Stay updated on program changes and communicate updates to patients.
• Collaborate with providers, insurers, social workers, and others to enroll patients.
