Job summary

Medsien is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support Remote patient monitoring patients in navigating our programs. The CMA will document enrollment details, monitor progress, and coordinate with providers and insurers to ensure smooth enrollment.

This role emphasizes privacy, empathy, and clear patient education. The position is a 1099 contractor with no benefits, requiring strong communication, medical terminology knowledge, and comfort working in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification from a nationally accredited body (NHA, AAMA, NCCT, NAHP, etc).
• Strong medical terminology knowledge for eligibility assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clear explanations.
• Empathetic approach and ability to connect with patients.
• Keen attention to detail for enrollment documentation.
• Strong organization to manage multiple enrollments and deadlines.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and basic software.
• Professionalism, integrity, and privacy compliance.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced health team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Remote patient monitoring patients with program navigation.
• Document enrollment details and eligibility in EHR or designated systems.
• Follow up on enrollment progress and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Educate patients about Medsien programs.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurers, social workers, and others.
