Job summary

Medsien is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support remote patient monitoring patients in navigating our programs. The CMA will document patient information, monitor enrollment progress, and educate patients about Medsien programs.

The role requires strong medical terminology knowledge, empathy, and proficiency with EHR systems. This is a 1099 contractor position with no benefits, Monday–Friday, in a patient-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification from a nationally accredited body.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and empathy in patient interactions.
• Detail-oriented with enrollment documentation accuracy.
• Experience with EHR systems and quick software learning.

Responsibilities

• Help patients navigate programs, ensuring adoption and use of equipment.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document patient information, enrollment details, and program eligibility assessments in EHR or other designated systems.
• Follow-Up and Coordination: Monitor enrollment progress and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate enrollment.
• Patient Education: Provide patients with clear explanations regarding Medsien programs.
• Compliance and Privacy: Adhere to HIPAA and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborative Approach: Work with healthcare providers, insurers, social workers, and others to ensure enrollment.
