Job summary

Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a Cloud Security Administrator to support day-to-day operations securing the firm's cloud presence. You will collaborate with Security, DevOps, Networking, and MSP partners to configure and maintain security controls.

The role emphasizes audits, incident response, and client security questionnaires, with a remote, five-day workweek. Requirements include a BS in CS/IT or cybersecurity, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Microsoft cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT, or closely related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience (CISSP helpful).
Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365).
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure security solutions including Cloud Security Posture Management and SIEM are properly deployed.
Assist teams in securely deploying resources in the cloud environment.
Administer cloud-based privileged access and conduct regular access reviews.
Implement and monitor cloud-based security baselines and controls.
Participate in incident response as part of CSIRT.
