Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a Cloud Security Administrator to support the firm’s cloud security posture. You will collaborate with Information Security, DevOps, Networking, and external providers to configure and maintain security controls, perform audits, and assist with client security assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a closely related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (CISSP helpful).
• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, O365).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper employment of security solutions including Cloud Security Posture Management, SIEM, and other cloud security settings with IT functions.
• Help teams securely deploy resources in our cloud environment.
• Administer cloud-based privilege access and conduct regular access reviews.
• Implement and monitor cloud-based security baselines and controls.
• Monitor security posture of firm cloud-based resources.
• Proactively review security events via the firm's SIEM and dashboards.
• Monitor resources to identify and respond to vulnerabilities and anomalous activity.
• Work with DevOps to maintain security posture of code and pipelines.
• Participate in incident response as part of CSIRT.
• Assist with audits and questionnaires.
