Job summary

Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a Cloud Security Administrator to join the Information Technology – Security team. The role supports day-to-day cloud security operations, audits, incident response, and client security questionnaires, with a focus on posture, reviews, and secure deployment alongside DevOps.

This is a remote, five-day-a-week position (Mon–Fri). The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a closely related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (CISSP helpful).
• Proficiency with Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, O365) and SIEM.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper use of cloud security solutions (Cloud Security Posture Management, SIEM, baselines).
• Help teams securely deploy resources in our cloud environment.
• Administer cloud-based privileged access and conduct reviews.
• Monitor security posture, review events, and respond to vulnerabilities.
• Participate in incident response as part of the CSIRT and assist audits.
