Job summary

Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a Cloud Security Administrator to support day-to-day cloud security operations within the Information Technology – Security team. You will audit cloud systems, participate in incident response, and assist client security assessments while collaborating with the MSP, Networking, and DevOps groups.

This remote role requires 3–5 years of security experience and proficiency with Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a closely related field.
3–5 years of relevant security experience (CISSP helpful).
Proficiency with Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365).

Responsibilities

Ensure proper employment of cloud security solutions including Cloud Security Posture Management and SIEM.
Help teams securely deploy resources in our cloud environment.
Administer cloud-based privilege access and conduct regular access reviews.
Implement and monitor cloud-based security baselines and controls.
Monitor security posture of firm cloud resources.
Proactively review security events via SIEM and dashboards.
Identify vulnerabilities and anomalous activity.
Work with DevOps to secure code and pipelines.
Participate in incident response as part of CSIRT.
Assist with audits and questionnaires.
Be part of after-hours incident call tree.
