Job summary

Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a Cloud Security Administrator to support the Information Security Manager in securing the firm's cloud environment. The role collaborates with IT security, MSP, Networking, DevOps, and other groups to configure and maintain security controls, perform audits, and participate in incident response.

This remote, full-time position requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or closely related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (CISSP helpful).
• Proficiency in Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper employment of security solutions including Cloud Security Posture Management and SIEM.
• Help teams securely deploy resources in our cloud environment.
• Administer cloud-based privilege access and conduct regular access reviews.
• Implement and monitor cloud-based security baselines and controls.
• Monitor security posture of firm cloud-based resources.
• Review security events via SIEM and dashboards; identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve security of code and pipelines.
• Participate in incident response as part of CSIRT; assist with audits.
