yipitdata is seeking a director-level infrastructure leader to modernize and scale shared cloud capabilities for data-intensive products. You will guide cloud platform, SRE, DevOps, and developer-experience strategy in AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform.

This player-coach role directs a globally distributed team while partnering with engineering leadership and security/IT functions. The role emphasizes setting direction, hands-on architecture decisions, and ensuring reliable, scalable

Qualifications

Leadership experience across cloud platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
Experience operating and transforming mature production infrastructure in data-intensive environments.
Proven ownership of SLOs, incident management, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a unified modernization roadmap across cloud infrastructure.
Lead a global team spanning platform engineering, SRE, and DevOps.
Provide reliable, self-service workflows and faster feedback loops for developers.
Establish mature reliability practices including SLOs, incident response, and post-incident follow-through.
Own disaster-recovery readiness and testing including recovery objectives and remediation of gaps.
Define a 24/7 operating model and improve cloud efficiency with cost attribution and automation.
