Job summary

Datasite seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead its Infrastructure & Platform Engineering, overseeing Cloud, SRE, CI/CD & SDLC, and Application Support. This executive will scale a ~50-strong team across four Directors, driving reliability, multi-cloud operations, and enterprise-grade performance in a global SaaS environment.

Qualifications

10+ years leading engineering teams, with 3–5 years at VP level.
Experience in a large-scale, global SaaS environment with critical availability and performance.
Strong knowledge of multi-cloud, IaC, GitOps, containers, observability.
Proven ability to develop leaders and manage executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide overall organizational leadership for four Directors and ~50 engineers across Cloud, SRE, CI/CD & SDLC, and Application Support.
Set engineering standards for reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
Own platform strategy, architecture, and long-term roadmap in alignment with business goals.
Ensure platform health with SLAs, incident response, and postmortems.
Lead acquisitions integration of infrastructure assets and develop integration playbooks.
