YipitData is seeking a Head of Cloud Infrastructure (Director Level) to lead modernization and scaling of the shared infrastructure that powers our data-intensive products and engineering organization. You will own cloud platform, SRE, DevOps, and developer experience across AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

This player-coach role requires setting strategy, making architectural decisions, and leading a global team while delivering reliable, cost-efficient platform services for engineering and data

Qualifications

• 6+ years of infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, or developer productivity experience.
• Experience leading 3–10 engineers in a global team.
• Experience building or transforming a data-intensive SaaS/platform.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the cloud-infrastructure modernization roadmap.
• Lead a global, high-leverage team with hands-on technical judgment.
• Improve developer velocity and platform experience with reusable infrastructure and self-service workflows.
• Establish formal reliability practices including SLOs, incident management, and post-incident reviews.
• Own disaster-recovery strategy and readiness across services.
• Define platform priorities and ownership boundaries with engineering leaders.
• Measure progress across delivery performance, platform adoption, and cloud efficiency.
