Job summary

YipitData is hiring a Head of Cloud Infrastructure (Director Level) to lead modernization and scaling of the shared platform powering its data-intensive products. You will own cloud platform, SRE, DevOps, and developer experience in a Kubernetes/Terraform on AWS environment.

This remote-friendly role reports to the Chief Architect and requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can align roadmaps, establish reliability practices, and build a high-impact global team while ensuring security and cost

Qualifications

6+ years of infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, or developer productivity experience.
Hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Led approximately 3–10 infrastructure, platform, SRE, or DevOps engineers.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience scaling data-intensive SaaS/analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

Set and execute a cloud-infrastructure modernization roadmap for AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and the platform ecosystem.
Lead a global, high-leverage team spanning cloud platform, SRE, and DevOps with clear direction.
Improve developer velocity with self-service workflows and reliable infrastructure.
Establish reliability practices including SLOs, incident management, and post-incident follow-through.
Design a sustainable 24/7 operational model with on-call responsibilities and escalation paths.
