Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure powering production systems in 24/7 environments. You will own infrastructure, improve reliability, and work directly with production systems in a fast-growing tech setting.

Key responsibilities include Kubernetes platform optimization, IaC implementation with Terraform and Helm, robust CI/CD pipelines, and strong emphasis on observability and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong AWS experience preferred; GCP or Azure considered.
• Hands-on Kubernetes expertise in production systems.
• Proficient with Terraform, Helm, or similar IaC tools.
• CI/CD design and deployment automation experience.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Background supporting highly available 24/7 environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in production environments.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized services.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Helm.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to support safe, frequent deployments.
• Enhance system observability through monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve overall platform resilience.
• Automate operational processes and reduce manual overhead.
• Partner closely with software engineers to deploy and support mission-critical applications.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and long-term platform strategy.
